Environmental Non Profit Fundraiser!
Please join us on Fri. March 6th for the next ArtfulChange.org event @ Root Division - using our passion for the arts to make a difference! Gallery reception Happy Hour at 5:30 and bands start at 7:00.

Connect the Dots is a nonprofit effort dedicated to lowering the environmental footprint of nonprofit organizations as they deliver their social missions. Do good without doing harm. Their 3-month Green Start program concentrates on easy conservation practices that yield high impact to "jump start" organizations towards sustainability. Its comprehensive service connects nonprofits to single-issue incentive programs (water conservation, energy efficiency, waste management, etc.) to quickly bring about environmental and financial savings.

They aim to serve more under-resourced and critical Bay Area communities. Check out their work at Hamilton Family Center, a San Francisco-based organization focused providing food, shelter, and a comprehensive array of support services to promote self-sufficiency to low-income families as they find and maintain housing. Learn More about their work to "green" nonprofit organizations.

Toy Program Fundraiser
Fundraiser: Toys For Underprivileged Children
12/20 - Hotel Utah Saloon. Please join us this Saturday night as we raise money for the San Francisco Firefighters Toy Program.

Although Artful Change focuses mainly on environmental issues we are pulling together (rather last minute) to help a VERY worthy cause. I was devastated to learn that due to the current economic situation toy donations are at an all-time low this year. We at Artful Change have to try to do something towards this issue so, please join us this Saturday night as we raise money for the
San Francisco Firefighters Toy Program.

I know so many folks are out of town for the holidays so if you can't make this charity event perhaps you can donate online:

Black Mesa Indiginous People Benefit Concert - Oct. 22nd
The Jay Trainer Band is playing with several amazing local artists to raise money for a very important cause. Bands from Santa Cruz and San Francisco are joining together to raise awareness and funds to help the Black Mesa tribes continue their efforts to hold on to their true heritage and basic human rights.
As we speak, there exist a state of fear and anxiety in a traditional community at Big Mountain in the heart of Black Mesa.

And as we speak, the federally deputized officers of the BIA Hopi Agency Police and Rangers are patrolling this region where a few traditional elders continue to live and also resist federal mandates to relocate.

I want to bring your attention to one particular situation that is an example of the wide-spread acts of injustice, human rights violation, religious intolerance, and threats of property destruction. Learn more
